Help your helpers, immediately and without any problems
How does the rescue brigade find out easily whom to contact first?
Very simply: if you tell them! And if you are unable to speak? Surely
you carry a mobile phone.
And this is how it works
- Open a contact in your mobile phone under the name ICE (In Case of
Emergency) for instance: ICE - Mother or ICE - Husband
(Check whether
the contact can be found under ICE! The entry was probably stored under
"Husband, ICE", so it cannot be found!)
- Store the number of the requested person in the format +41 52 999
99 99*
(Do not forget the star: Mostly you have already stored the number
under the correct name of mother, wife, husband .... Thus you avoid
confusing the phone with two identical phone numbers!)
- Inform the relevant person that he/she was stored as ICE contact.
- Ready! Of course you can also record several contacts as ICE
contacts, such as: ICE 1 - wife, ICE 2 - father, ICE 3 - partner, etc.
Where did ICE originate???
ICE has its origin in England. After the terror attack against the
London Underground on 07.07.2005 ICE was on everyone's lips and found
great support within the population.
Why ICE???
Although ICE has not yet been defined as international standard, it
is utilized in various countries as such. We are of the opinion that it
is right and sensible to support an international solution.
What else can you do now?
Support the campaign "In Case of Emergency ICE" by telling your
friends, acquaintances, colleagues etc. about www.imnotfall.ch.
Link your website to www.imnotfall.ch
so that as many people as possible have stored ICE and are therefore
able to help helpers to help!
